Our month of September, continued our volunteer work for an amazing Humpback Whale research center (CetaMada) and the Princess Bora Dive Center on Sainte Marie Island, Madagascar. Among epic days on and in the ocean, watching humpback whales rear their calves and diving in pristine waters full of life, we were able to take some spontaneous adventures around Madagascar. Along with beautiful and varied landscapes, we were lucky enough to see various species of Lemurs (primates endemic to Madagascar) and even some elusive chameleons. Leaving Madagascar, we continued exploring the Indian Ocean, visiting friends and hiking the Cirque de Mafate on the waterfall filled island of La Reunion. September was full of stunning and varied landscapes, from lust forested mountains to tropical rainforests, exotic land and sea creatures, and spending quality time with good friends.

  1. WOW! I’ll travel vicariously through you guys. I did book a trip to Madagascar in May with Undiscovered Destinations for 17 days…added on 2 days in Ifaty to dive. Keep well and keep smiling!
